A new office for the 1990 Suwa Seriya Ambulance Service was officially inaugurated today, April 4th, at Horton Place, Colombo 07. The ceremony was presided over by Health and Mass Media Minister Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa, with the attendance of Samagi Jana Balawegaya MP Dr. Harsha de Silva and other dignitaries. This new facility aims to significantly improve the service's overall performance, strengthen ambulance operations, and enhance coordination for faster emergency medical responses to the public.

Prior to this, the service's main office had operated from a private building in the Rajagiriya area since 2016.
