Namal also commented that senior government leaders communicate with Basil Rajapaksa more frequently than he does, suggesting their advice might influence his overseas stay. Furthermore, Namal Rajapaksa affirmed that the SLPP party continues to operate with Basil Rajapaksa's blessings, with any decision on his active political future resting solely with him.
