Minister Vows Action on Decades-Old Judicial System Issues

Minister of Justice and National Integration, Harshana Nanayakkara, has stated that the government is focusing on providing solutions to significant, long-standing issues within Sri Lanka's judicial system. He noted that these problems are not recent but have persisted for 15-20 years, influenced by past political culture. A key concern highlighted is the need to retain experienced judges, with the Minister suggesting enhanced incentives and privileges to prevent their retirement, which represents a substantial loss.
