Man Missing After Being Swept Away at Kalutara Beach

A 55-year-old married man has been reported missing after being swept away by strong sea currents while bathing at Katukurunda Beach in Kalutara on the evening of May 3rd. The incident occurred around 5:30 PM as the man was bathing with his children and relatives. According to Kalutara South Police, he was caught by a powerful wave and dragged out to sea. Search operations involving local residents and the police are currently underway to locate the missing individual.
