Man Fatally Assaulted in Embilipitiya After Argument

A 52-year-old man was fatally assaulted in the Kodikanda area of Embilipitiya on the night of May 10th. The victim, a resident of the area, was reportedly beaten with a blunt weapon, identified as an iron rod, following an argument. Preliminary police investigations indicate the altercation escalated between the victim and two other individuals, leading to the fatal attack. The Embilipitiya Police are currently conducting further investigations to apprehend the suspects, who are reported to have fled the scene.
