Police seized 3 kilograms and 362 grams of 'Ice' methamphetamine, discovered abandoned by the roadside in the Thumbagalla Kanda area. The haul, reportedly the largest in the Kalutara district recently, was found packed in 60 small packets within a black travel bag and is valued at nearly 550 million Sri Lankan Rupees. Investigations are ongoing to apprehend the suspects. The new source indicates the drugs were found in a forest near the Thudagala bridge, and a suspect from the Matugama area is believed to be involved in transporting the drugs to Baduraliya.
