The luxury bus service connecting Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA), Katunayake, and the Makumbura Multimodal Transport Centre has resumed operations as of today, June 01. This service aims to provide efficient, comfortable, and safe transport for both local and foreign passengers arriving at or departing from the airport. Operated jointly by Airport and Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) Ltd. and the National Transport Commission under the guidance of the Ministry of Transport, Highways and Urban Development and the Ministry of Ports and Civil Aviation, the journey is expected to take approximately 50 minutes with a fare of Rs. 410. Special training has also been provided to staff to enhance service quality.
