Litro Gas Lanka has announced that it will maintain a continuous supply of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) throughout April and May. The company confirmed that 20,500 metric tons (MT) of gas have already been received for April, with an additional 17,500 MT expected to arrive this month. These stocks, along with others, are being stored in a floating warehouse near the Maldives. Furthermore, Litro Gas stated that a vessel carrying another 20,000 MT of gas is currently en route via South Africa to the Maldives, ensuring adequate reserves for May. The company also noted its successful efforts in meeting consumer demand during the recent festival season.
