New Level 2 (Amber) alerts have been issued for specific Divisional Secretariats in Colombo (Sitawaka), Galle (Neluwa), Kalutara (Agalawatta, Mathugama, Horana, Walallawita, Palindanuwara), Kandy (Gang Ilaha Korale, Delthota, Pasbage Korale, Gangawata Korale, Pathahewaheta, Yatinuwara, Doluwa, Udapalattha, Panvila, Akurana), Kurunegala (Alawwa, Narammala), and Ratnapura (Pelmadulla, Ratnapura, Eheliyagoda, Ayagama, Kuruvita, Kiriyella, Kalawana) districts. The public in affected areas is urged to remain vigilant.
