Kuwait Limits Domestic Worker Recruitment to 10 Nations, Sri Lanka Among Approved Countries

Kuwait has introduced new regulations limiting domestic worker recruitment to 10 approved countries, with Sri Lanka among the nations permitted to send workers. The directive, issued by Kuwait's Ministry of Interior and Public Authority for Manpower, aims to strengthen oversight and streamline labour market procedures. Recruitment is now prohibited from 27 other nations. The approved countries include India, the Philippines, Nepal, Vietnam, Ethiopia, Eritrea, South Africa, Benin, and Senegal (for male workers only).
