Kuwait Airways to Recommence Weekly Flights to Colombo from April 15

Story Update

Update #2\u00b7 Apr 8 · 12:17 PM

Kuwait Airways had previously suspended its operations to Colombo from February 28 due to the Middle East war situation. An attempt to resume flights from March 2 was also halted due to continued insecurity. However, a special flight carrying 241 passengers arrived in Colombo from Kuwait on March 31. The Civil Aviation Ministry has confirmed the airline's decision to officially recommence its weekly flights from April 15.

Kuwait Airways, the national carrier of Kuwait, is set to recommence direct flight operations to Colombo, Sri Lanka, starting April 15. The new service will operate weekly every Wednesday, aiming to strengthen air connectivity and provide enhanced travel opportunities between the two nations. Flights from Kuwait will depart at 01:30 hrs and arrive in Colombo at 18:05 hrs. The return journey from Colombo will depart at 19:05 hrs, arriving in Kuwait at 03:30 hrs. This resumption is expected to support increasing travel demand and offer passengers improved access to Kuwait Airways' international network.
