A 39-year-old man has been arrested in the Kottawa area for allegedly possessing an illegally assembled jeep. The arrest occurred during a raid conducted by the Western Province South Crime Investigation Division on May 29. Police stated the jeep was allegedly built using illegally imported spare parts. The suspect is also accused of operating the vehicle without a valid revenue license, insurance certificate, or emission test report, and of forging relevant documents.
