Low-lying areas within the floodplains of the Kuda Ganga and Maguru Ganga, specifically in the Bulathsinhala, Madurawala, and Palindanuwara Divisional Secretariat Divisions, are at risk of minor flooding.

The Kalu Ganga has risen to a minor flood level in the Millakanda area, with water levels close to danger levels in Ellagawa and Putupawula. Several houses in the Ingiriya Nambapana area have been inundated. The minor flood warning for the Kalu River basin has been extended for another 24 hours from midday today. Additionally, the Attanagalu Oya is at a flood risk level in the Dunmale area.
