Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has issued a warning, stating it will target American technology, ICT, and artificial intelligence companies operating in the region. The IRGC, citing semi-official Iranian news outlets Tasnim and Fars, accused these firms of being the primary elements in designing and tracking what it described as "terrorist" or "assassination" targets. This threat comes with a condition: it would be enacted if more Iranian leaders are killed. The IRGC specifically named companies such as Google, Apple, Tesla, Microsoft, Meta, IBM, HP, Intel, Boeing, and JP Morgan among 17 firms, urging employees and residents near their facilities to evacuate. The warning unfolds amidst heightened US-Iran tensions, with US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth previously stating that the coming days would be critical and that the US, under President Donald Trump, is prepared for continued conflict if a peaceful agreement is not reached.
