Police have arrested a 76-year-old man suspected of arranging two individuals to act as sureties for Kapila Chandrasena, the former CEO of SriLankan Airlines. The two individuals, identified as Mohamed Rizwan and Mohamed Irshan, were reportedly paid Rs. 15,000 each to stand as sureties for a bail bond of Rs. 100 million. Both sureties have been remanded in custody until December 13th, with one ordered to appear for an identification parade.
