Indonesian Navy's KRI Bima Suci – 945 Concludes Colombo Goodwill Visit, Discussions Held for 2027 Staff Talks

The Indonesian Navy's sail training vessel, KRI Bima Suci – 945, arrived at the Port of Colombo on April 15, 2026, for a goodwill visit. This visit is a key component of the ASEAN Plus Cadet Sail (APCS) – 2026 programme, bringing together Indonesian naval cadet officers and cadets from 26 foreign countries. The vessel was ceremonially welcomed by the Sri Lanka Navy in accordance with naval traditions. Commanded by Commander Sugeng Hariyanto, the ship's stay will include observation visits for Sri Lanka Navy trainees and personnel, highlighting a significant naval engagement between Sri Lanka and Indonesia.
