Indian Vice President Radhakrishnan to Undertake Two-Day Official Visit to Sri Lanka

Indian Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan is scheduled to arrive in Sri Lanka for a two-day official visit. Preliminary arrangements for this visit were discussed this afternoon at the Presidential Secretariat. The meeting involved Prabath Chandrakeerthi, Chief of Staff to the President, and Dr. Satyanjal Pandey, Deputy High Commissioner of India. During his visit, Vice President Radhakrishnan is expected to hold discussions with President Anura Kumara Dissanayake and Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya. Discussions during the preliminary meeting also included ongoing and future Indian aid projects in Sri Lanka.
