Indian Navy Ship INS Nireekshak Arrives in Colombo for Joint Training

The Indian Navy Ship INS Nireekshak arrived at the Port of Colombo on April 21 for an operational turnaround and training visit. The Diving Support Vessel, commanded by Commander Sailesh Kumar Tyagi, was traditionally welcomed by the Sri Lanka Navy. During its stay until April 26, the vessel will conduct a Mixed Gas Diving Training program in collaboration with Sri Lanka Navy diving professionals, aiming to facilitate experience exchange between the two nations' diving sectors. In addition to the joint training, the crew is expected to participate in various activities organized by the Sri Lanka Navy and visit local tourist attractions.
