During the meeting, which is part of the IMF's seventh review of Sri Lanka's Extended Fund Facility (EFF) programme, the President stated that recent economic indicators show the country is on a path towards economic stability. He outlined the government's aim to leverage this stability to usher in a transformative era and improve living standards. The IMF delegation, in turn, commended Sri Lanka’s economic progress and fiscal measures.
