Horana State Bank Robbed of Rs. 35 Million in Daylight Heist

The security officer arrested in connection with the Horana State Bank robbery has been further remanded until June 23 by Horana Chief Magistrate Lakmini Vidanagamage. The suspect has been identified as Gayan Sudarshana, a 43-year-old security officer residing in Bulatsingala, who was arrested for aiding the heist. The magistrate also ordered the suspect's motorcycle to be handed over and CCTV footage relevant to the incident to be submitted to the court.
