Fuel QR System to Continue, CPC Cites Consumption Management Amidst Global Price Shifts

The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) has confirmed that the QR code system used for fuel distribution will continue. CPC Chairman D.J./D.A. Rajakaruna stated the decision was made to effectively manage fuel consumption. This comes as the CPC continues to study the situation, noting that global fuel prices remain volatile and have not decreased in line with previous increases. Consumers are currently experiencing no obstacles in purchasing fuel.
