Free Lawyers Accuse Finance Ministry of Hiding $2.5 Million Treasury Heist Report

The Free Lawyers Organization has accused the Ministry of Finance of engaging in a "shameful attempt" to hide a report concerning a $2.5 million treasury heist. According to the organization, the ministry is deliberately withholding documents from the Parliamentary Committee on Public Finance, which are necessary for its oversight role. They argue that the report, detailing the $2,509,430 that reportedly fell into the hands of a third party, is a matter of public financial responsibility mandated by Article 148 of the Constitution. The Free Lawyers insist that this report should not be treated as mere 'bedtime reading' but must be promptly presented to Parliament.
