Bodies of Woman & Two Girls Recovered; One Boy Still Missing After Pamunugama Drowning

A 35-year-old woman and three children have gone missing after a drowning incident off the Epamulla coast in Pamunugama. The missing individuals include the woman, two girls aged four and 12, and a 13-year-old boy. The incident reportedly occurred on the evening of August 30th while the group was bathing in the sea. All four missing persons are identified as residents of the Ja-Ela area. The Sri Lanka Navy and Pamunugama Police have launched search and rescue operations to locate them, with further investigations ongoing.
