Former Minister Ranawaka's Phone Ordered for Forensic Analysis on March 29th

The Colombo High Court has issued an order for former Minister Patali Champika Ranawaka's mobile phone to be submitted for forensic analysis on March 29th. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Lalith Rohana Gamage confirmed this at a police media briefing on March 17th, stating the device would be sent to the Government Analyst via court. The analysis is deemed crucial for an ongoing investigation into allegations of influencing a witness in a High Court case. SSP Gamage emphasized that the phone's analysis report is expected to reveal significant evidence. Ranawaka, while speaking to media during a related appearance, stated he is not intimidated by what he termed a 'repressive program' and would continue to act democratically for the public.
