Former Air Force Chief Records Statement with FCID on MiG Deal

Former Air Force Commander Air Chief Marshal Donald Perera appeared before the Financial Crimes Investigation Division (FCID) today to provide a statement concerning the controversial MiG aircraft procurement deal. The recording of his statement lasted for nearly six hours. This appearance is part of ongoing investigations into the MiG acquisition process, following similar statements previously recorded from former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and former Air Force Commander Roshan Gunathilake regarding the same matter. Air Chief Marshal Perera has since departed from the FCID premises.
