Foreign Ministry Suspends Document Attestation Services Due to Technical Failure

The Consular Affairs Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has temporarily suspended all document attestation services until further notice. This disruption is due to an unexpected technical failure affecting the Electronic Document Attestation System (e-DAS). The suspension impacts services at the main headquarters in Battaramulla and all Regional Consular Offices (RCOs) located in Jaffna, Trincomalee, Kandy, Matara, and Kurunegala. The Ministry stated that immediate measures are being initiated in coordination with relevant technical partners to resolve the issue.
