Five Live Rounds Found in Galle Prison Women's Wing; Separate Shooting Incident Reported

The ammunition was found during a search operation by prison staff, with no owner identified for the rounds. In a separate incident at the same prison, authorities reported that officers fired shots when two inmates attempted to escape, resulting in one inmate being injured and admitted to Karapitiya Hospital.
