Fatal Road Accidents Claim Lives Across Sri Lanka

A series of road accidents have led to tragic outcomes across Sri Lanka. In Matale, a collision between a motorcycle and a gas transport lorry on Raja Mawatha resulted in the death of a 74-year-old man and injured a 12-year-old child. Separately, in Matale, another accident involving a motorcycle and a cable across the road claimed the life of a 48-year-old rider and injured two teenagers. Further incidents include a fatal accident in Kadawatha where a bus struck a pedestrian, and a crash in Buttala where a motor vehicle veered off-road, injuring two individuals. Investigations are underway for all incidents.
