Eppawala School Stabbing: Grade 12 Student Injures Five in Retaliatory Attack

A Grade 12 student at a leading government school in Eppawala attacked fellow students with a sharp weapon today, resulting in five injuries. The injured students, all from the school's Advanced Level Technology stream, were admitted to Eppawala Divisional Hospital. Police reported the assailant, a Science stream student, acted in retaliation for a dispute that occurred a few days prior with one of the injured students. Four other students sustained injuries while attempting to intervene and de-escalate the conflict. The student responsible for the attack has been apprehended by police.
