Elderly Woman Dies After Electrocution from Fallen Power Line in Urugasmanhandiya

A 74-year-old woman has died from electrocution in the Rakinakanda area of Urugasmanhandiya. The incident occurred on May 13th when a fallen tree branch, reportedly due to strong winds, brought down a live electrical wire. While walking to a nearby residence, the woman is believed to have touched the downed wire, resulting in the fatal shock. The Urugasmanhandiya police are conducting further investigations into the circumstances.
