These calls and WhatsApp messages are made in addition to the previously reported misuse of the DRP's official hotline, 0115 226 126. Acting Commissioner General M.S.P. Suriyapperuma reaffirms that DRP officials do not use these numbers to request personal details and advises the public to refrain from sharing any information.
