Dozens Injured in Head-On Bus Collision in Talalla, Matara

A head-on collision between two private passenger buses occurred in Talalla, Matara, this morning around 7:45 AM. Nearly 40 passengers sustained injuries in the accident. The injured have been admitted to Matara General Hospital and other local medical facilities for treatment. The buses involved were reportedly travelling from Galle to Ampara and from Tangalle to Matara. Police have stated that investigations into the cause of the collision are currently underway.
