Dhamma School Teacher Certificate Exam Application Deadline Extended to April 30

The Department of Buddhist Affairs has announced an extension for the application deadline of the 2026 Dhamma School Teacher Certificate Examination. The new deadline for submitting applications is April 30, 2026. This decision was made following requests from Dhamma School Headmasters. Previously, the application period was set to close on April 20, 2026, having commenced on March 11, 2026. Commissioner General of Buddhist Affairs, R. M. G. Senaratne, confirmed the extension. Prospective candidates can access application forms and instructions online via the Department of Buddhist Affairs official website (dbagovlk.org), the Dhamma School section website (www.dbadhammaschool.giize.com), and the Dhamma School application available on the Google Play Store.
