Court Orders Health Report for Ex-Intelligence Chief; Hospital Director Summoned Over Delays

The Fort Magistrate's Court has ordered the Director of the Colombo National Hospital to submit a report concerning the health condition of Suresh Sale, former head of State Intelligence. Sale is currently being held under remand custody for questioning as part of the ongoing investigation into the 2019 Easter Sunday terrorist attacks. The court also issued a summons for the hospital director to appear on March 22nd to explain why medical reports and records have not been submitted, as previously requested. Separately, the court ordered a travel ban on Ranjan Senaratne Bandara, a former Police Inspector from the State Intelligence service, who is reportedly required for the ongoing investigations.
