Colombo Police Detail Special Traffic and Security Plan for May Day

Sri Lanka Police have announced a special traffic management and security plan for International Workers' Day on May 1st. This comprehensive plan will be implemented primarily in Colombo, where major May Day parades, rallies, and celebrations are scheduled to take place. While significant events are concentrated in the capital, various organizations and institutions will also hold commemorative events across the island. The police initiative aims to ensure the peaceful conduct of all gatherings, maintain public safety, manage traffic flow, and enhance road security throughout the day.
