Central Bank Submits Key 2025 Economic and Financial Reports to President

The submission of the "Annual Economic Review 2025" and "Financial Statements and Operations 2025" reports by Central Bank Governor Dr. P. Nandalal Weerasinghe to President Anura Kumara Dissanayake was conducted in accordance with Section 80 of the Central Bank Act. The event, which took place at the Presidential Secretariat on the afternoon of April 20th, was also attended by several key officials, including Deputy Minister of Finance and Planning Dr. Anil Jayanta Fernando, Treasury Secretary Dr. Harshana Suriyapperuma, and Senior Deputy Governor of the Central Bank K.M.A.N. Daulagala. The Presidential Media Division confirmed the details of the presentation.

The Central Bank of Sri Lanka's "Annual Economic Review 2025" and "Financial Statements and Operations 2025" reports were formally presented to President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, who also serves as the Minister of Finance, Planning and Economic Development. The reports were submitted by Central Bank Governor Dr. P. Nandalal Weerasinghe at the Presidential Secretariat. The Annual Economic Review 2025 indicates that the Sri Lankan economy has further strengthened its progress from previous years.
