Central Bank Bond Scam Case Against 11 Defendants, Including Ex-Governor and Minister, Set for September 9

The Colombo High Court has ordered that the Central Bank bond scam case be called again on September 9. The case, filed by the Attorney General under the Public Property Act, lists 11 defendants. Prominent among those accused are former Central Bank Governor Arjuna Mahendran and former Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayake. The proceedings were conducted before a three-judge bench, including Judges Priyantha Liyanage, Viraj Weerasuriya, and Thilakaratne Bandara.
