Cabinet Approves 39 New Health Projects to Enhance Public Healthcare

The Cabinet of Ministers has approved a proposal to implement 39 new projects in the health sector, aimed at enhancing public healthcare services. These initiatives, submitted by the Minister of Health and Mass Media, are designed to address identified infrastructure deficiencies in government hospitals and other healthcare institutions. The projects will focus on developing modern infrastructure to upgrade facilities in line with contemporary healthcare standards and meet the country’s growing healthcare needs. Following an evaluation of 41 project proposals submitted during 2025 and 2026, the implementation is slated to commence in 2027.
