Anesthesiologist from Badulla Hospital Found Dead Following Disappearance

The body of the anesthesiologist from Badulla Teaching Hospital, Dr. Prabath Dayaratne, has been found. The discovery was made this morning (August 24th) on a rock slab in the Loggal Oya reserve, near where his vehicle was previously located. Police confirmed he was 49 years old, a father of two, and resided in the Kandy area. He had been reported missing since the afternoon of August 23rd.
