All Sri Lankan Preschools Must Register by July 1 Under New Regulations

Minister of Women and Child Affairs Saroja Savithri Paulraj has announced that all preschools operating in Sri Lanka must register or renew their registration by July 1st under new government regulations. Institutions failing to meet this deadline will be publicly identified as unregistered. The new rules stipulate that preschools will only be allowed to admit new students after completing registration and meeting required government standards. The Minister made these remarks during an awareness program held at the Matara District Secretariat. Parents are also urged to verify the registration status of preschools before enrolling their children.
