96% of Post-Intern Doctors Apply for Placements by Deadline

The Ministry of Health has announced that 96% of eligible doctors have successfully applied for post-intern medical appointments. A total of 435 out of 453 doctors who completed their internship training submitted their applications before the deadline of 12:00 PM on April 4, 2026. The application process, managed by the Ministry, concluded as scheduled. Future assignments of these medical officers to new hospitals and health institutions will be determined based on their application details and merit list rankings. The Ministry emphasized that these placements will be conducted under a transparent and scientific methodology, aiming to address medical requirements across the island.
