A total of 37 Chinese nationals have been deported from Sri Lanka after being apprehended for violating immigration regulations and engaging in illegal activities. The individuals were held at the Welisara detention center before their expulsion. Among the deported were six women. They were escorted by 11 Chinese security officials and departed from Bandaranaike International Airport on May 4th night via China Eastern Airlines flight MU-714 to Kunming, China.
