Commissioner General of Examinations, Indika Kumari Liyanage, announced that results can also be accessed via www.results.exams.gov.lk. Both school and private candidates can check or download their result sheets by entering their National Identity Card (NIC) number on onlineexams.gov.lk/eic, which school principals can also use with their provided credentials. A significant update is that G.C.E. O/L certificates will be issued online only. Candidates are advised not to visit the Department of Examinations for certificates but to apply online through https://certificate.doenets.lk/certificate to receive them by post.

The Department of Examinations has released the results for the 2025 GCE O/L examination. A total of 451,463 candidates sat for the exam, which was conducted from February 17 to February 26 across 3,547 centers. Results can be checked on www.doenets.lk. Applications for re-scrutiny of results will be accepted from June 25 to July 07.
